Review:
MaxxDry was kind enough to send me the MaxxDryXL to try out for myself, and I couldn't wait to see how well it worked. The MaxxDryXL doesn't take much assembly, you only have to attach the drying tubes for boots and it's ready to use.
I really wanted to put the MaxxDryXL to the test, so I took a pair of my husbands shoes outside to the hose. Yes, to the hose. I turned it on and soaked my husbands shoes filling them with water and getting them completely wet. Now clearly I do not recommend doing this, but in order to conduct my review I needed wet shoes.

Now it was time to see how the MaxDryXL stands up to soaked shoes. I set the dryer for 1 hour thinking I would just check it every hour until the shoes were dry. But to my surprise, 1 hour later those completely soaked shoes were almost dry. It took another 15 minutes on the MaxxDryXL and my husbands shoes were dry! We were both impressed with how quickly it worked and how easy it was to use.
The "Forced Air" technology doesn't blow very hard, but it gets the job done quickly and safely. The MaxxDryXL  really brought my husbands shoes back to normal condition, with no signs they were ever wet. It also eliminated the odor with no trace of smell. Just warm, dry, odor-free shoes.
I don't know how we ever got by without the MaxxDryXL, and I'm so glad we will never have to again.
