SneakerSkinz - Review and Giveaway (7 Winners)

I don't know about you, but my kids seem to wear out their shoes within a few months after buying them. Buying new shoes every few months can get expensive, and knowing that they are just going to get worn out quick makes the whole process quite frustrating. But now there is a new, stylish way to renew those worn-out shoes so they can continue to be worn, without looking like it.

About SneakerSkinz:
SneakerSkinz is an easy to use sneaker customizing system that allows you to customize your own sneakers without spending hundreds of dollars. With the SneakerSkinz customizing system, you can mix and match the three different designer sheets included in each theme. Whether you're refreshing an old pair of shoes or wanting to give your new pair a unique look, the SneakerSkinz allow you to easily customize your shoes over and over again.

Review:
I was really excited when I was given a chance to review SneakerSkinz because my kids go through several pairs of shoes every year. So I couldn't wait to see how they really worked.

Applying the SneakerSkinz to my daughters shoes was really easy, and took me less than an hour to finish. Just trace the clear sheet you have taped to your shoe, cut out the SneakerSkinz, apply the cut piece to your shoe, wet with a damp towel, and your done. The SneakerSkinz are also easy to wash off so you can give your shoes a new look whenever you want.

I couldn't believe not only how easy the SneakerSkinz were to apply, but how great the shoes really looked. Before, my daughters shoes had wear and tear marks all over the nylon sides, and scuff marks all over. But now my daughter says they look "really awesome!" and they do. The SneakerSkinz actually sealed in the tears of the nylon and covered up the scuff marks.

SneakerSkinz isn't only for sneakers, they work on flip flops too. I took a pair of plain pink flip flops I got from a dollar store, and applied the SneakerSkinz. It only took me about 10 minutes to cut and apply the SneakerSkinz and now they look great. It was an easy, affordable way to make cheap flip flops look their best.
I also came up with a great way to use all of those left-over scraps. Instead of throwing them out, you can use them to decorate things like folders and binders.

Just cut the scraps into fun shapes and apply them the same way as you would to shoes. My daughter really liked decorating her folders, and I like that I won't have to pay more for those "pre-designed" folders anymore.
So if you're looking for a way to keep your kids in their shoes just a little bit longer, or want to jazz up those plain sneakers, SneakerSkinz is an affordable way to make your shoes even more wearable.
