Rainy Day $10 Amazon GC Giveaway - Ends 7/7

Rainy Days are extremely rare here is southern New Mexico. We get maybe 20 days a year of either light sprinkling, light rain, or light snow. But that's it, 20 days only of light whatever a year. When it does 'rain', it lasts maybe an hour and then the the sun comes right back out.  =(   But hopefully the rain that's here today will help put out some of the fires around New Mexico.
So since it just started to rain, YAY, we are going to celebrate this rare occassion here in New Mexico with another $10 Amazon GC Giveaway!!

  28. Oh, my mother wouldn't allow a TV in our home. But, my dad kept one in his workshop so I'd sneak out there to watch with him. I have fond memories of the Cosby Show, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and Diagnosis Murder.

  29. LOL - My mother put the tv in a closet, and brought it out only on special occasions, like the Olympics or when I had chicken pox. But my favorite toy was always a book. I would read almost anything, and still do!

  56. My favorite toys were the American Girl dolls. My sister and I LOVED them, but our parents were too frugal to spend that much on dolls, so we just obsessed over the books.

  58. My favorite toy as a child was a deck of cards. If I wasn't reading you could find me playing cards, whether solitare games or crazy 8s, king's corners, any variety of poker, sheepshead, schmear, euchre, canasta, war, etc., etc.

  68. When I was a little girl in the 80's, my entire room was done in Strawberry Shortcake and I had every doll available. I remember that they each had a fruity scent. So cute.
