About The Protein Bakery:
Since day one in November of 1999, The Protein Bakery has continued to create perfection by not only baking their products from scratch daily, but also by using natural ingredients. The name was chosen for a good reason, every product they create is filled with muscle-building protein. Each and every guilt-free bite is also high in fiber, low in gluten, and delivers up to five times as much protein as the average baked treat. With over 20 varieties offered, it's no wonder their motto is "Do it better", because they have.
Review:
Like many, my family probably doesn't get enough protein in an average day. So when we were given a chance to try some of The Protein Bakery treats, I couldn't wait to see how the taste compared to the nutrition.
We were sent a variety of products to try from The Protein Bakery which included; a Chocolate Chip Brownie, a Walnut Brownie, a Coconut Walnut Dark Chocolate Chip Blondie, a Colossal Trail Mix Cookie, a Colossal Chocolate Cherry Cookie, a 2 pack of Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies, a 2 pack of Chocolate White Chocolate Chip Cookies, a 2 pack of Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies, a 2 pack of Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies and a 2 pack of Peanut Butter Cookies.
Over the past several days, my family and I sampled all of the products we received. Personally, I loved them all, as not only were they soft and moist, but the taste was amazing! I was afraid they would have that 'bland' taste to them, as many naturally made products do, but that wasn't the case with The Protein Bakery products. My husband said "This is the best brownie I've ever had, it's actually really good!" as he ate the Walnut Brownie. He was right, all of the Brownies as well as the Blondie were absolutely delicious. Like they came straight from grandma's kitchen.
My son Scott's favorite was the Colossal Chocolate Cherry Cookie. He loved the chunks of cherries mixed in with the chocolate which gave the cookie a pleasant sweetness, without being too sweet. This was the case with all of the other cookies as well, which was a wonderful surprise compared to store-bought cookies which tend to be over-sugared.
As for my daughter Makayla, which whom doesn't like meat and I have struggled for years trying to get more protein in her diet, loved all of the cookies as well. It was just amazing to see how easy it was to get my daughter some of the protein she needs, just by giving her a cookie.
Knowing that The Protein Bakery products are safe for my whole family as they do not spike blood-sugar levels, and give us all that extra boost of protein we need on a daily basis, I couldn't recommend them enough! So whether you're looking for a delicious way to get more protein in your life or your child's, then I suggest trying The Protein Bakery. Their products are baked with everyone from parents to athletes in mind.
